SILVER YACHTS fits its luxury catamaran with MARINELEC Technologies equipment
The Australian shipyard SILVER YACHTS, known for its 85-meter mega yachts, is developing its activity in China, where it has been established for five years now. The Jiangmen-based shipyard is building the first SPACECAT, a 36-meter-long luxury catamaran with 300 square meters of interior space and over 575 square meters of exterior space. Fully equipped with innovative features, the SPACECAT offers top-of-the-range services combining comfort and safety.
A level of expectations that requires alarm and surveillance systems that are efficient, reliable, and fully integrated into the design of the wheelhouses of these luxury vessels. MARINELEC TECHNOLOGIES has responded by providing this catamaran with its M.TASK "Alarm Monitoring System". This system allows, from one or several touch screens, to control different devices, to visualize alarms and to monitor many parameters essential to the safety of the yacht. MARINELEC TECHNOLOGIES has customized this system by adapting the numerous functionalities to the SPACECAT specifications.
"The AMS was highly customized, says Jean-Benoît DELPY, regional operation manager based in China. We made it tailor-made. It was a challenge for the team, which tested and adjusted the necessary parameters at each stage of commissioning. The commissioning was a success, especially thanks to the excellent cooperation we have with the shipyard and our integration and installation partner Hansbell.”
